In Cochin Visit of the historic city of Fort Cochin - ancient capital of the Dutch, Portuguese and finally the British. A walking tour of Fort Cochin. Day 3. Cochin - Periyar After breakfast, drive to Periyar, which lies in the shade of Cardamom Hills and is a beautiful area of tranquil winding. Check-in at the SPICE VILLAGE Late afternoon enjoy a boat safari in Lake Periyar in the National Park, known for herds of wild elephant, bison, deer and spectacular bird life. Day 4. Periyar You may wish to venture again, early morning to the national Park since it is the best time for sightseeing. After breakfast, visit at and Spice plantations or do a soft trek with escort in the jungle. Day 5. Periyar - Kumarakom After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom on the banks of Lake Vembanad and hop on to about to COCONUT LAGOON, an eco-friendly resort created out of old Sunset cruise on a rice boat. Day 6. Kumarakom To see an extra ordinary way of life Remaining day at leisure Day 7. Kumarakom - Marari After breakfast, boat transfer across lake Vembanad to Puthenangadi to take car/coach to Marari Beach. Rest of the day at leisure It is a paradise of sun, sea and sand and surf.
