Tour Packages Wonders of Kerala Duration: 06 Nights/ 07 Days Places Covered: Cochin -Guruvayoor-Munnar-Thekkady-Alleppey-Kovalam-Trivandrum Day 01 : Arrive Cochin & transfer to Guruvayoor Begin your tour. Arrive into Cochin Welcome to Vardhman's' Wonders of Kerala Tour' Our executive welcomes you and explains the tour to you !. Later you will be transferred to Guruvayoor (100 kms / 2 hrs). Evening you will be taken to Punnathur Kotta, 2 km away from Guruvayur, the place where the temple elephants over 50 are taken care of. Overnight: Hotel Day 02 : Guruvayoor - Munnar Early morning, visit Sree Krishna Temple and after breakfast drive upto Munnar (200 kms / 5 ½ hrs), one of the famous Hill Stations. Arrive Munnar and check in to hotel. Afternoon at leisure and evening visit the near tea plantations Overnight: Hotel Day 03 : Munnar After breakfast go for sight seeing of Munnar, visit Mattuppetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake and Eravikulam National Park which is also called as Rajamala. After the sight seeing you can consider going on shopping for high quality tea, coffee etc. or you can also go on walking tour to the surrounding areas and watch the local life as it is. Overnight: Hotel Day 04 : Munnar -Thekkady Early morning after breakfast drive to Periyar (100 kms/03 hrs) on the way visiting Idukki dam. Later proceed to the wildlife sanctuary at Periyar/Thekkady. Check in at the Hotel/Resort. Afternoon,Boat ride in Lake Periyar to watch wildlife. Sightseeing will include spotting a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc. In the evening visit Kumily spice market to see and buy spices. Overnight: Hotel Day 05 : Thekkady - Alleppey After breakfast drive to Alleppey and board houseboat for overnight cruise in the backwaters of Kerala. Cruise takes you through the palm fringed canals and is a unique way to discover Kerala. Evening candlelit dinner on board houseboat. Overnight: Houseboat Day 06 : Kovalam The houseboat comes to a halt at Alleppey today morning after breakfast. Proceed to Kovalam and transfer to beach resort on arrival. Day free to relax at the golden beach. OPTIONAL: Today you can spend the whole day visiting several attractions in and around the town. Start with a visit to Thiruvanthapuram and visit the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple , Museum Complex, Science and Technology Museum , Aakulam Boat Club, Veli Tourist Village and the lovely Shangmugham Beach Overnight: Hotel Day 07 : Kovalam- Trivandrum After breakfast checkout from hotel and leave to Trivandrum Airport.
