Tour Packages Full day Excursion to Kanyakumari Kanyakumari is the confluence of three seas - Bay of Bengal, Arabian Ocean & Indian Ocean. It is an important pilgrim centre of India is famous for Amman Temple – a symbol of unity and sanctity dedicated to the virgin goddess, Kanyakumari. To its South East lies the famous Vivekananda rock memorial, a blend of all architectural styles of India. Later in evening drive back to Kovalam to stay overnight in the hotel Overnight: Hotel Day 4: Kovalam-Alleppey On the day 4 of your tour drive from Kovalam, to Kerala's traditional houseboat for Alleppey, which is a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. Reach Alleppey and check into your houseboat. cruise along the backwaters, passing through paddy fields, villages, market etc. The cruise is through `Kuttanad' literally meaning the land which is lower than the sea level but is kept intact by its bounds and dikes. It is the `rice bowl' of Kerala. The rice fields are very beautiful and this lush land and surrounds governs the placid way of life of the people who live on the backwaters. Overnight: Hotel Day 5: Alleppey -Thekkady/Periyar The houseboat comes to halt in Alleppey. Disembark the boat after breakfast and drive to Thekkady. On arrival check into hotel, refresh yourself & be relaxed for the remaining part of the day. Overnight: Hote Day 6: Thekkady/Periyar Full day free to explore Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Reach and check into your hotel. At Munnar you are free to explore its beauty of nature. Overnight: Hotel Day 8: Munnar This morning after breakfast proceed on a City tour of Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park to see rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr, Old Munnar Town, Dairy Farm and the Mattupetty Dam. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. Visit the bazaars, plantations etc Overnight: Hotel Day 9: Munnar -Cochin/Kochi This morning after breakfast drive to Cochin. Reach and check into your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hotel Day 10: Cochin/Kochi City tour of Kochi. Visit the Dutch palace, Jewish Synagogue, chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Church. Also visit the Hill Palace Museum which displays articles of archeological importance. Rest of the day free for relaxation on the beach. Overnight: Hotel Day 11: Cochin/Kochi Full day free to relax on the beach Or Full day free for leisure activities on the beach.
